The zoo trip

Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to help out at the zoo next week.  Unfortunately I was only able to accept 3 parents.

The parents coming on the trip are:

Shifan's mum,

Tauseef's mum,

and Ella's mum.

Please meet in the staff room at 8:40 on Tuesday the 21st of March for a briefing.

Thank you again, and see you next week.

Amazing animals!

In room 28, we are learning about the different groups animals belong to and what special characteristics animals in each group have.

Check out some of our fantastic work in science below:

We have been learning about the special characteristics animals must have to belong into specific animal groups.

Did you know that people are mammals?

We also learnt lots about the Tuatara, New Zealand's very own native reptile.

Check out some of our cool animal art.

Here are some example of high quality work in science.  The children are learning to sort, label, define, explain and organise information.

Talk to your children about what they are learning at school.  I bet they have a lot to tell you! We can't wait to go to the zoo next week and learn even more about animals.

Belonging posters

This term we are learning about belonging and what belonging means to us.  The children in room 28 have worked together with their families to create some amazing posters communicating to us what belonging means to them and their families.  Check out some of the awesome posters below!

Thank you families for your support.  We have all enjoyed learning about what belong means to different families in room 28.
